# Srikanth V — Frontend Engineer

> Frontend engineer (frontend developer) based in Bangalore, India. Close to 4 years shipping production React and Next.js apps: dashboards, design systems, headless-CMS marketing sites and SEO-focused rebuilds. Open to new frontend roles.

## About

I'm Srikanth V, a frontend engineer based in Bangalore with close to 4 years of experience turning designs into fast, accessible, production-grade interfaces using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

I care about the details that most people don't notice until they're missing — load speed, keyboard navigation, layout shift, and code that's still easy to read six months later.

Outside of work I'm usually learning something backend, editing photos/videos, or shooting on my phone.

## Experience

## Projects

- [TWF – TheWaterFirm](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/twf.md): Built TheWaterFirm's public website and its smart water metering webapp with Next.js — from SEO and an SSG blogs module to admin/tenant dashboards and Razorpay-powered billing.
- [CleanWash Website](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/clean-wash.md): A streamlined and responsive online platform for The Clean Wash, enabling seamless scheduling of laundry pickup and delivery, showcasing services like eco-friendly wash & fold, dry cleaning, and leather care.
- [Zunoy Suite](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-suite.md): An overview of everything I've worked on across Zunoy's all-in-one SaaS suite — the marketing site, live products, internal tools, and the shared design system powering all of them. Each link below goes to that project's own page.
- [Zunoy Website & CMS](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-website.md): Migrated Zunoy's marketing site from a self-contained Next.js build to a headless-CMS architecture — a custom Strapi backend feeding a Next.js frontend, with content-type schemas, migration tooling, and i18n built from scratch.
- [Zunoy Uptime Monitoring](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-uptime.md): Built the dashboard and public status page for Zunoy's Uptime Monitoring product — real-time API/website health checks with live-updating charts and a customer-facing incident status page.
- [Zunoy Form API](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-form-api.md): Built the dashboard for Zunoy's Form API — backend-less form submission handling with analytics, document/PDF preview for uploaded submissions, and API integration docs.
- [Zunoy MockAPI](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-mockapi.md): Built the dashboard and public docs page for Zunoy's MockAPI — an instant fake-REST-API generator for prototyping, with a Monaco-based schema editor and embedded Swagger UI for testing endpoints.
- [Zunoy AppShare](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-appshare.md): Collaborated with the Zunoy team on AppShare — a download/share landing page that distributes mobile app builds to testers and teams via device-aware links and branded QR codes.
- [Zunoy HRMS Suite](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-hrms.md): Built Zunoy's internal HRMS — five linked portals (employee, employer admin, recruiter, onboarding, public careers) covering attendance, org structure, recruiting, and hiring, sharing a common design system.
- [Zunoy Bug Tracker](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-bug-tracker.md): Collaborated with the Zunoy team on the Bug Tracker — a kanban-style bug dashboard plus an embeddable bug-reporting widget that captures a screenshot, lets users annotate it, and files the report automatically.
- [Zunoy Design System & Internal Packages](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-design-system.md): Built and maintain the shared front-end platform behind every Zunoy product — a Tailwind-based design system, a composed component library, a real-time collaborative rich-text editor, icons, and framework-agnostic utilities, published as private packages and consumed org-wide.
- [Zunoy Webapp Template](https://iamsrikanth.com/projects/zunoy-webapp-template.md): Created the internal boilerplate used to bootstrap every new Zunoy product webapp — pre-wired with the design system, auth, and a multi-environment build pipeline — so new products start from a consistent, production-ready base instead of from scratch.

## Writing

- [Next.js October 2026 Security Update: Patching Two Critical RCEs](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/nextjs-october-2026-security-update.md): On October 14, 2026 Next.js shipped an out-of-band fix for two critical remote code execution bugs and a Server Actions DoS. Here's what was affected, why my portfolio on 16.2 was exposed, and the exact upgrade I ran.
- [Next.js Security Headers on Vercel: Fixing a 25/100 Score](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/nextjs-security-headers-csp-vercel.md): A header scanner gave my Next.js portfolio 25 out of 100 — only HSTS was set. Here's the exact next.config.mjs I shipped to add CSP, X-Frame-Options, nosniff, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy and COOP/CORP, and the trade-offs behind each one.
- [Make Your Next.js Site Visible to ChatGPT, Claude & Perplexity](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/llms-txt-nextjs-ai-search-visibility.md): How I set up my portfolio for AI search: an llms.txt and llms-full.txt, a markdown version of every page (via .md URLs or Accept: text/markdown), robots.txt groups that fully allow AI crawlers, and JSON-LD. Plus an honest look at what's proven and what isn't.
- [Dynamic OG Images in the Next.js App Router with Custom Fonts](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/nextjs-dynamic-og-images-custom-fonts.md): How I generate a unique share image for every page of my portfolio with ImageResponse and the opengraph-image file convention: loading custom fonts (and why woff2 fails), prerendering cards for dynamic routes, and the metadata mistake that silently overrides them.
- [Recreating Mobbin's Hero Logo Animation with GSAP](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/gsap-mobbin-hero-logo-animation.md): How I built the hero on my portfolio, inspired by mobbin.com: app icons inside a headline that open from a hairline, grow into the gap and crossfade in place. Covers em-based slot sizing, the var() width bug that made it jank, GSAP code and accessibility.
- [How I Took Core Web Vitals from 65 to 99 in Next.js](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/core-web-vitals-65-to-99-nextjs.md): A concrete, no-fluff breakdown of the specific changes that moved the needle on Core Web Vitals — images, fonts, JavaScript, and rendering strategy.
- [SSG vs SSR vs ISR in Next.js: How I Actually Decide](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/ssg-vs-ssr-vs-isr-nextjs.md): Static generation, server rendering, and incremental revalidation all solve different problems. Here's the decision process I use, illustrated with this portfolio's own architecture.
- [Migrating a WordPress Site to Next.js: What I Learned Shipping Hyqoo](https://iamsrikanth.com/blogs/migrating-wordpress-to-nextjs.md): A real migration story — rebuilding Hyqoo's WordPress site in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and the concrete decisions that took Core Web Vitals from an average of 65 to 99.
